I couldn’t play any musical instruments; I haven’t taken any singing lessons. I love to sing. I had lyrics to a set of songs. I felt very happy when I sing them. That great joy that comes out from singing was important for me; it was the power to put up with the rest of the day. Alexander Würlitzer is an amazing guitarist, a wonderful person, a good friend. He was getting ready to move out from Dresden, the city where I live. He made a simple live recording of my songs. Alex played the guitar. It was a present for me! That was the beginning of my understanding about the music. This was a very important point in my life and I am very thankful to Alex for that! They are cover songs and I don’t know if I am allowed to put them on this page, but if it does allow me, you will hear 4 songs from Alex’s recording. This is me in 2009:

2013 I decided to take guitar lesson. I wanted to find a teacher, someone that I have never met before. I was anxious. I looked up at the silent sky, and I wished for a guitar teacher who would understand me.

Yes! I did find a teacher from the Hochschule für Musik. I told my teacher that I only want to learn how to play the songs that I used to sing. Music is a wonderful thing! It slows down the noisy brain and makes me peaceful. My Asthma is a big hinderance. My medicine makes me drowsy, and week, but I keep trying. I do not have a goal to reach. Singing for practice is the joy! Here are the three songs and my original "Water", that I recorded by myself, on my bed five in the morning, when the birds started to sing in Sri Lanka. These days I am more interested in sounds, not words in any language. When I see how today’s world is, I am less interested in words! I am interested only in sounds now. Sounds are the same as the colours to me. And my guitar is my palette. I am searching for the sounds that suites my feeling of my painting. That’s where my heart is now.
